Ingredientes

  • 1.5 kg whole chicken
  • 1 kg, peeled and quartered potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 3 sprigs rosemary
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 unit lemon

Método de Preparação

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Season chicken inside and out with salt and pepper
  3. Stuff cavity with lemon and rosemary
  4. Place potatoes in roasting pan
  5. Place chicken on top of potatoes
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and add garlic
  7. Roast for 1h30m, basting occasionally
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving
  1. Cut potatoes into chunks (3 sec/speed 5)
  2. Place in Varoma dish
  3. Add chicken, seasoned, to Varoma tray
  4. Add 500ml water to bowl
  5. Cook 45 min/Varoma/speed 1
  6. Finish in oven for 15 min at 200°C for crispy skin

Dicas

  1. Pat chicken dry before seasoning for crispier skin
  2. Let chicken reach room temperature before cooking
  3. Baste every 30 minutes for juicier meat
  4. Rest meat before cutting to retain juices
  5. Use waxy potatoes for better results
