Ingredientes

  • 2 cups long-grain rice
  • 1 whole chicken (cut into pieces)
  • 200g roasted chestnuts (peeled)
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Método de Preparação

  1. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and thyme
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan and brown chicken pieces
  3. Remove chicken and sauté onions and garlic
  4. Add rice and stir for 2 minutes
  5. Add chicken broth and bring to boil
  6. Return chicken to pan and add chestnuts
  7. Cover and simmer for 35-40 minutes
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
  1. Chop onions and garlic: 5 sec/speed 5
  2. Add oil: 3 min/120°C/speed 1
  3. Add chicken pieces: 10 min/120°C/reverse/speed soft
  4. Add rice, broth, chestnuts: 25 min/100°C/reverse/speed soft
  5. Rest for 5 minutes before serving

Dicas

  1. Toast chestnuts slightly before adding for enhanced flavor
  2. Use chicken thighs for more flavor
  3. Can substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth
  4. Add mushrooms for extra umami taste
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving
